As we draw ever closer to the theatrical release of the final installment of the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy, the promo campaign for The Dark Knight Rises is starting to wind down. This week Warner Bros. released the final movie poster for TDK which some people don’t really like. They have also released a slew of character posters that, I think, people will like better. Click below to see posters of Batman, Catwoman and Bane in all their movie poster glory.

This is the final movie poster for The Dark Knight Rises. I mean, I don’t hate it but I can see how some folks might not be impressed. It’s not very interesting and it really does not illuminate the film in any way.

This batch of characters posters is much more interesting, I think. Batman looks badass and we finally get to see Catwoman and Bane take center stage in the promo campaign. I will say that the rain doesn’t really work for me but I guess it does provide a certain effect.

This batch of snowy photos feels more serene … pensive … dramatic. They make a nice contrast to the fiery final poster above. The posters are simple but they work well in Nolan‘s world of Batman. These promo materials provide a slow build-up to the film’s release. We still have to wait until the end of July to see The Dark Knight Rises so … I suppose these posters are supposed to help the anticipation mount? What do you guys think of these posters? When an injury to UFC Bantamweight Champion Dominick Cruz saw Renan Barao promoted to an interim title bout against Urijah Faber, Ivan Menjivar (24-8) was briefly left without an opponent for UFC 148. UFC officials have announced that Mike Easton (12-1) will now step in to face “ The Pride of El Salvador."

The Tristar Gym member, who currently boasts a three-fight win streak, didn’t have to wait long for a new opponent to step forward.UFC officials have announced that Mike Easton (12-1) will now step in to face “ The Pride of El Salvador.”

Easton, currently riding a seven-fight win streak, last stepped into the octagon at UFC on FX 1. In a wildly entertaining bout, the Alliance MMA product took home a majority decision victory against Jared Papazian.

While it’s unclear where on the card the bout will fall, both veterans of the sport will attempt to climb their way up the ladder in hopes of getting closer a title shot in the UFC’s deep 135 lbs. division.

Mac Miller Makes It The Best Day Ever At Bamboozle

'I'm just tryin' to bring a show, man,' Mac told MTV News just before his high-energy set at Friday's festival kickoff.

ASBURY PARK, New Jersey — There's only so much partying on Fifth Ave. that a man can do, so on Friday night, Mac Miller hit the Jersey Shore and threw an old-fashioned beach party.

"I'm just tryin' to bring a show, man. I want to bring a performance, I want to bring them into the Macadelic experience," Mac told MTV News hours before he took the stage at the Bamboozle music festival in New Jersey.

Skrillex, Mike Posner, Incubus and Miller all took to Bamboozle's main stage on the opening night of the three-day fest, and they didn't disappoint. For Mac's set, which began at 7 p.m. ET, the Pittsburgh MC brought a portion of his Macadelic Tour to concertgoers who had come to see an array of rock, rap and EDM artists.

It was all high-energy when Miller, who was dressed in an "RIP MCA" tee, set things off with the title track from his #1 debut album, Blue Slide Park. From there, EZ Mac launched into "Don't Mind If I Do" from his 2010 breakout tape, K.I.D.S. Always one to represent for his crew, Miller, his DJ, Clockwork, and hypeman Treejay bounced up and down to "My Team," and then turned things up a notch with the rambunctious "Knock Knock," all to the youthful crowd's delight.

While a majority of the Rostrum rapper's catalog is centered on feel-good jams, he does show range on introspective cuts like "Angels (When She Shuts Her Eyes)." Even when he wasn't ping-ponging frantically across the stage, the crowd responded to Miller's more subdued tracks by waving their hands side to side, showing him that they too are capable of more than just getting crunk.

Before he dove into "Best Day Ever," Mac took a bit of a breather while old Miller family home movies played on a big screen. All the teenage girls cooed as they watched baby Mac open birthday presents and sing along to the Sugar Hill Gang's seminal hip-hop track "Rapper's Delight."

"I wanted to represent the music through visuals, I've always been a very visual person," he explained to us before the show. "I wanted to use that to create the aesthetics of the show and show people what all of the songs mean to me and put them into that world."

Miller picked up the mood with the electric "Frick Park Market" and drew immediate crowd participation with the first line. After spitting, "My name Mac Miller," the crowd responded right on time with a thunderous, "Who the f--- are you?"

It was a lesson on how to properly connect with your audience, one that's invested in every word you rhyme. Last year when Miller dropped his now-gold-selling single "Donald Trump," he promised to "take over the world," and despite all of his success he still makes that vow at the end of each and every show. Last night was no different. After a 40-minute set, Mac sealed the deal with a spirited rendition of "Trump" and then marched off to continue to make good on his promise, one stage at a time.

NAUGHTY GIRLS: Usher ACCUSES Tameka Raymond Of ATTACKING And SPITTING At His "Girlfriend" + Wendy Williams EMBRACES Plastic Surgery, Says Black Women Are JEALOUS

Usher testified in court today that things once got physical between his girlfriend Grace Miguel and ex-wife Tameka Raymond with Tameka spitting at her. Get the deets inside and find out what Wendy Williams has to say about black women and plastic surgery.

Earlier today, Usher testified in court that the day he showed up at Tameka's house with his girlfriend Grace Miguel (he called Grace his "girlfriend" under oath but seems to deny it to the media), Tameka went HAM hitting him, throwing food and spitting at his girlfriend.

As the ex-couple continues to battle for custody, Usher said Tameka approached him and Grace and "wanted to fight." He said that Tameka walked up to the car and said, "I'm gonna kick your ass. Bitch get out of the car. How dare you bring this woman into my subdivision in my house?" He added, "She continued to spit. At this point she pulled the door open, tried to swing at her."

Deep sigh. He alleges that after he got out of the car to calm her, Tameka hit him. THEN, "she threw a plate of food at the car!" He added that one day, Tameka told Grace, "I will f**k you up."

There's three sides to every story. We do know that. But we can't say we wouldn't be surprised if every bit of this was true. Maybe not the full story, but true.

Also.......

Wendy Williams may have been spotted munching on hot dogs and BBQ while taping her show earlier, but if the pounds ever start to load up...she knows how to get them off. During a recent interview with XO Jane, Wendy expressed her love of plastic surgery and addressed her critics. Wendy (who is open about her liposuction, breast implants and tummy tucks) said black women are just JEALOUS of her post-surgical body because they think you're supposed to be natural.

"They are jealous. Because if I said to that person, 'I got the doctor and I’m going to pay for it. Choose three things you want to do,' believe me, they would get it done. They are very jealous and scared. Scared of what their other friends would say, or to break out of the box and be different. And being Black? Ugh, please. My people will not go for any kind of surgery. We are supposed to be natural. Ugh, whatever."

Oh Wendy....

She also addressed her "wig" haters saying, "If you do wear a wig, everybody wants you to take off the wig and show your hair. That's what Tyra [Banks] did on her show years ago. Because she was running out of ideas trying to shock her audience."

BONUS:

Bobbi Kris stole our hearts last night during the 2012 Billboard Awards' tribute to her mother Whitney Houston. But she also spent part of the weekend breaking the law as video has surfaced of she and Nick Gordon at the slot machines of the MGM Resort and Casino on Saturday. Because Nick is 22, his presence was fine....but 19-year-old Bobbi Kris at the slots was a no-no! If she would have won any money--she wouldn't have been allowed to receive it as casinos require an ID stating you're over 21 in order to receive a payout. And they've got cameras EVERYWHERE. The casino is now launching an investigation.
